Cbank: Banks' July retail lending rises 1.7%, corporate by 1.3%
MOSCOW, Aug 10 (PRIME) – Russian banks’ retail lending grew by 1.7% and corporate lending by 1.3% in July, the central bank said in a statement on Monday.
"Lending to companies continued to rise in July 2020 (adjusted for foreign currency revaluation, the July growth amounted to 1.3%). Debt growth in real terms somewhat exceeded the indicator for the same period in 2019 and was significantly higher than the same indicator in 2015," the document read.
Total retail debt grew by 1.7% in July after 0.9% in June.
